Hotels Maurice Hurand present Eurosatory. An economic, military and political event, Eurosatory is the leading international meeting for land, air-land and homeland security. It is held every other year (even-numbered years) in Villepinte and is an opportunity for defence actors to meet with all of their partners for one week. The 2008 show, which brought together defence experts from around the world in Paris from 16 to 20 June, showcased the defence of the future.
Eurosatory is currently the world reference in land, air-land and homeland defence. Specialists, actors and decision-makers from around the word come to learn about the latest trends, discover the equipment and systems of the future and gauge developments in the needs among defence and security forces. Eurosatory is also the place for presenting the latest innovations and technologies useful to armies. But Eurosatory is more importantly a forum for contacts between industries, users, decision-makers and media experts in the field.
In modern armies, personnel levels are limited because professional soldiers are expensive. Military staff therefore seek as a priority to assign their men to operations in the field and increasingly entrust their equipment’s maintenance and training for their forces to industry.
