The Town Hall of the 18th arrondissement of Paris will celebrate on October, 10th, 11th, and 12th, the 75th "Fête des Vendanges de Montmartre".

Following up the success of the 2007 edition "Montmartre celebrates Brassens", the « Fête des Vendanges » goes futher and mixes up music, cinema, wine and gastromonia to become a huge cultural event.

This year's theme will be "Montmartre celebrates its Cinema": the one of Montmartre and of the 18th arrondissement with major figures of the French cinema : Anouk Aimée and Claude Lelouch, celebrating his 50 years in cinema, a concert dedicated to "Amélie Poulain", a short film festival on the 18th, a polar-movie-night, an evening discovery of jobs related to cinema, exhibitions, concerts, lectures, a cinema-trail around the Butte etc...

The booths and regional village becomes a "Taste Trail", with thematic villages : "The Water and Fruits Village", "the Organic Village", "The Regional and Over-seas Village", "The Market Village"; "The Invited Country Village", "The Around the World Wine Village", "The Cinema Wine Village" and "The Grand Wines Bistrot".

All quartiers of the 18th arrondissement will be associated to the event through the "Taste Trail", from the Goute d'Or to the Porte de la Chapelle, all the way to the Porte de Montmartre.

This is also a big soldidarity event for the sale of the bottles from the grape-vine "Clos-Montmatre" by the Event Comitee of the 18th, is entirely given to the social associations of the arrondissement ... and not to forget the friaries parade, fanfares, bandas and bands from the 18th, all around France and from around the world on Saturday, October, 11th... with three huge open-balls.
