Exploring

Step outside the hotel and take a leisurely stroll along the market stalls in the Rue de Buci. The quartier de St Germain des Prés reveals itself as an authentic village in its own right, with its Place de Furstenberg.

If history appeals to you, the îlot St-André des Arts and the Cour du Commerce will take you on a journey back in time, from the Middle Age to the 18th century.

The Quartier de Saint Germain  is another fascinating neighbourhood with its many old narrow streets radiating out from Place St Sulpice. Rue du Cherche-Midi, for example, dates from the 14th century and follows the trace of an old Roman road.

The Luxembourg Gardens are a romantic setting for a stroll or simply people-watching.
